Sergey Denisentsev. Graduated from the Masters program in Geography at Moscow National Univeristy. Currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences. A Centre for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies (CAST) researcher since January 2007.
Vasily Kashin, PhD. In 1996 graduated from the Institute of Asian and African Studies (Moscow), then worked for the Russian government bodies. Currently works as a senior research fellow of the Institute of Far East Studies (Moscow). Aleksey Nikolsky. Graduated from the Moscow National University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics in 1995. Worked as a correspondent for several newspapers and for Vedomostisince 2001.
Natalya Pechorina is an observer working for Ukrinform, a Ukrainian news agency which she joined in 2002. She is also the editor of the news bulletin “Ukrinform: Defense Industry and Aerospace News”. In 2000-2002 she was a news reporter with UNIAN, another Ukrainian news agency.
Ivan Safranchuk. Ph. D. Political Science. Dr. Safranchuk graduated from the Moscow National Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), then worked at the PIR Center for Policy Studies. Dr. Safranchuk headed the Moscow Branch of the Center for Defense Information (in 2006 renamed into World Security Institute – WSI) from 2001 to 2007. Now Dr. Safranchuk heads the private consulting firm LaTUK, providing services on foreign policy, energy, and security issues. He is publisher of the analytical magazine The Great Game: Politics, Business and Security in Central Asia. Dr. Safranchuk also lectures at MGIMO.
Vadim Zaytsev graduated from the the History, Political Sciences and Law faculty of the Russian State Humanitarian University in 2007. Completed a post-graduate course at the Institute of African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences in `2010. Worked for Rosafroekspertiza, a research and consulting center specializing in Russian-African relations, in 2006-2009. Joined the Kommersant Publishing House as an editor in 2010.
