Russia	USA	03.04.02	Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics & Surveillance Systems and Lianozovo Electromechanical Plant sign a memorandum on understanding.[6]		This document confirms the aspiration of the parties to start cooperation on the manufacture of airfield radar transmitters.
Russia	India	04.04.02	Phazotron-NIIR Corporation is reported to deliver 28 kits of Kopye fire control system to the Indian company HAL.[7]	About $68 mln[8]	As per the 1996 contract for delivery of 124 kits of Kopye radar for more than $300 mln.[9] Kopye will be installed on upgraded MiG-21 fighters on the Indian Air Force.

The Defense Minisry under­takes 15% of the pro­ject’s funding, Yakov­lev Design Bureau – 85%.[26]

Russia		30.05.02	Arms Alexander Nozdrachev General Director of the Russian Agency for Conventional says that in 2002, under the supervision of the Agency two defense holdings are to be created: armor (28 enterprises) and high-precision weapons (12 enterprises).[28]		In general the enterprises supervised by the Agency are to be united into 9 holdings.[29]
