In 1996-2000 Ukraine fulfilled contracts for approximately $800 mln with Pakistan. Under the 1996 $650 mln con­tract it delivered 320 T-80UD tanks[29].

The RD-1700 is expec­ted to replace the French Lar­zac-04R20 in the new Rus­sian MiG-AT trainer air­craft. Work on the basic en­gine is scheduled to be completed at the end of 2004[36].

The bill was passed by the State Duma on June 5 and approved by the Federation Council on June 14, 2002.

RAC MiG signs a contract on the revival of the flight pre­paredness of MiG-29 aircraft of the Slovak Air Force[57].

 

Under the contract, 18 MiG-29 of the Slovak Air Force will be brought to combat readiness by the end of 2003. Later they will be upgraded to NATO standards[58].
